Due to global reduction of the fuel cost, Antillean Marine's bunker surcharge will be reduced as of November 3rd 2008.
This rate reduction is applicable to all Commercial Cargo Shipments including commercial cargo service contracts and “industrial free zone” / 807 cargoes including service contracts, unless otherwise specified on the service contracts.
The new rates are as follows:

Although the Port of Miami River remains at Hurricane Port Readiness Condition WHISKEY, it does not appear that subsequent Hurricane Port Readiness Conditions will be implemented due to Hurricane IKE’s current track to the south. We will continue to monitor the storm and will advise if there are any changes.
As a result of bad weather caused by Hurricane Ike, there have been delays to our Northbound/ Southbound sailings. Please see revised September sailing schedule for vessel rotation changes....

The Captain of the Port has ordered Hurricane Port Readiness Condition WHISKEY for the Port of Miami effective at 1300 hours today. If Hurricane IKE continues its current track, condition X-RAY will be implemented at 2400 hours on Saturday, September 6, 2008, with subsequent YANKEE and ZULU designations to follow, as needed....
